Keep refrigerated. Once opened, use within 24 hours, and do not exceed use by date. Not suitable for home freezing.
Cooking Guidelines: Cook from chilled. Pre-heat the oven to 200ºC, Fan 190ºC, 390ºF. This is our take on a French classic which is delicious marinated or served simply with sauteed potatoes and veg. The confit thigh is already cooked in its juices for you to heat and enjoy.
Crispy, Confit Turkey Thigh in 3 easy steps:
1. Roast the turkey with all its juices and skin side up for 30-40 minutes on the top shelf.
2. Remove from the oven when the meat is hot and the skin is golden and crispy.
3. Shred, share & serve.
Serving Suggestions: Serve whole or shred the meat and incorporate into a hot sauce, curry, soup, rice, noodles or pasta just before being put together on the plate. This versatile meat lends itself to many sauces and flavourings.
Turkey wraps: Steam Chinese pancakes and spread with Hoisin sauce, top with shredded turkey and a few pieces of cucumber and spring onion. Wrap and enjoy.
