Whether your dinner calls for something elegant and classy, or you’re just after a simple supper that really hits the spot, our Wild Sea Bass is the perfect catch. The juicy, delicately flavoured flesh has a similar flavour to haddock and cod, flaking away into tender, buttery pieces that suit rich and zesty sauces. We only source from the most sustainable fisheries, and so all of our sea bass is line-caught using local bass boats in the Celtic Sea and the English Channel. These boats are between 6-10 metres long, helping them navigate the coast and avoid damaging the seabed below. Our friends at Celtic Coast work with small-scale fisheries to ensure full traceability and only source from spots where stock is plentiful, selecting fish with a rating of 1-3 on the Marine Conservation Society’s sustainability scale. This sea bass has a rating of 3.

Due to the impact that the weather has on line fishing, our sea bass is only available on your deadline day, when we can confirm availability from our hard-working fishers.
