Edgard & Cooper’s mission is to make top-quality pet food, using fresh meat sourced from high-welfare farms. Inspired by their pets, the founders, Louis and Koen met back in 2004 and knew they wanted to change the industry . And so, with university researchers lending nutritional insight and trusted farmers supplying fruit, veg and fresh meat they ordered their first 300,000 meals. Thankfully, the risk was worth the reward as their slow-cooked and steamed pet foods are more popular than ever. Their chilled transport trucks mean there’s no need for preservatives or processing and their kibble bags are made with plant-based biodegradable materials. The titular Edgard & Cooper couldn’t be happier with the results or the ready access to great food.
