This lasagne is so homemade you'd expect it to have a kiss from mum stamped on the pack. It's made on Pegoty Hedge farm by young Oliver Surman and his neighbouring gastropub chef friend (a good mate to have). Oliver farms beef but he loves his veggies and has plenty growing on his farm, as well as neighbouring farms. You've got aubergines, red peppers, mushrooms, all wrapped in a homemade sauce, layered with tender verde lasagne sheets and finished with a heap of melting cheddar and creamy white sauce. It's absolutely delicious and a perfect partner for a salad made with some veggies from your box.

Pegoty Hedge is an organic beef and lamb farm in the shadow of the Malvern Hills and Bredon Hill close to the River Severn. This idyllic corner of Worcestershire with its fertile land and lush green pastures produces some of the finest livestock in the country. Young Oliver is the third generation of Surmans to farm on this gorgeous plot. He's teamed up with a local gastropub chef to create the most outstanding, organic dishes for you to heat up at home. The meals are all organic and carefully made on their farm with their own Aberdeen Angus beef and lamb together with local fresh vegetables. They do not use any artificial colourings, preservatives or other 'nasties' so they really are ready meals without the guilt!

Storage & prep

Keep refrigerated below 4c. Suitable for home freezing. Freeze as soon as possible after purchase and before the best before date. Once thawed do not refreeze. If this product is defrosted, keep refrigerated and use within 2 days.

Remove sleeve and film lid before cooking.
OVEN: Preheat to 180C, Gas Mark 4.  Place on baking tray. From fresh, cook for 25 minutes or from frozen cook for 45 minutes
MICROWAVE: Place on microwaveable plate.  From fresh, cook for 4 to 5 minutes (750W) or from frozen cook for 10 to 12 minutes (750W)
After cooking leave to rest for 4 minutes before serving.
Do not reheat.
