Whip up a batch of plant-based fajitas in a flash with our organic Soya Fajita Strips from Organico. These soya bean strips are a fantastic way to enjoy the power of plants, created with 100% organic, EU-origin soya. Hugely versatile, you can easily infuse Organico’s Soya Fajita Strips with your choice of seasonings to create a meat-free meal to remember. They’re perfect packed into a tortilla wrap with stir-fried peppers, onions and a dash of chilli sauce.

To prepare, add boiling water to your soya strips, plus a splash of soy sauce for flavour. Colour and soak the pieces for five minutes. Combine your seasonings of choice in a separate bowl. Drain and cool the soya pieces, squeezing them gently to remove any excess moisture. Then coat them with seasoning and pan fry with a little oil for three to five minutes, turning frequently so that each side cooks through.

Storage & prep

Store in a cool, dry place. Cover the kebabs in boiling water and leave for 5 minutes. Drain, cool and squeeze out the excess water. Add a few splashes of soya sauce. Prepare a herb and spice rub in a bowl - think paprika, oregano and garlic. Coat each strip with the seasoning mix and shallow fry in a frying pan for 3-5 minutes, turning the strips frequently.
