Giol Prosecco Frizzante (750ml): The family estate at San Polo di Piave has been making wines since 1427. As Vittorio Carraro, the man in charge now, says: ‘experience matters’. The vineyards are in a natural depression, four meters below the rest of the surrounding flat lands, giving their Prosecco a simple, clean and uplifting character.
Handmade Champagne Truffles, Cocoa Loco (100g): The Booja-Booja team make their mouth-watering chocolate truffles by hand up in Norfolk. They’re all, rather impressively, organic and free from gluten and soya. And they’ve won over 77 awards since they began in 1999, winning over all those dairy non-organic chocolates. With minimal yet beautiful packaging, they’re the most ethically sound truffles we’ve ever found.
