Plus, you can pop it in the blender to add a burst of colour and wonderfully delicious, grassy flavour to your smoothies, soups and pesto.

Broadward Hall Farm sits just shy of the Welsh border in rural Herefordshire. This is land that’s been farmed by four generations of the Andrews family, and it’s ideally suited for leafier, organic greens like lettuce and kale. Colin and his son, Andrew, grow lovely leafy veg for us throughout the year, as well as beautiful sunflowers that encourage bees and pollinating insects to their farm.

Ingredients & allergens

Abel & Cole handles celery, celeriac, peanuts and nuts on site. Due to our packing process and re-use of boxes there is a risk of cross-contamination from these, and all other allergens.

While we do everything we can to ensure the information on this page is correct, ingredients, nutritional and dietary information are subject to change. So along with the information on our website, we always recommend that you read each label carefully before enjoying your items

Storage & prep

Kale simply needs a rinse and then can be steamed or boiled according to your preference. Store, wrapped, in the fridge. Try and eat your kale as soon as you have a chance to get the best texture.

Outstanding in their field
Our farmers are brilliant. We talk to them every day and have close relationships with them all. It means we get the pick of their crop, and we make sure they get a fair deal too.
