Grow your own organic Rainbow Chard. With seeds from our friends at Vital Seeds. The perfect addition to your garden.
What makes me special?
- Each packet contains a mix of seeds to grow into red, pink, orange, yellow and white stalks. With contrasting green and maroon leaves
- Organically grown
- The stalks and leaves are ideal for gently frying, blanching, or steaming, so the possibilities are endless. We love ours in cheesy omelettes and frittatas
- Or try your chard chopped raw in salads with a little lemon vinaigrette
- The delicate plants don’t handle frosts well. So, it’s best to plant alongside other winter greens like kale, so you always have some green veg at hand
- Sow these seeds in July (up until the end of August), and by the time autumn or winter comes around they’ll be producing leaves that’ll last until the following spring
- These seeds are open-pollinated. Meaning you can harvest your own seeds from them at the end of the season to use the following year
- Approximate seed count – 130
