That’s certainly the case with the Purato Nero d’Avola; a superb Sicilian red with a complete purity of fruit. Its fruit flavours are punchy and forthcoming, with excellent structure, and is a delight when paired with red meat and tomato-based dishes. Simple, yet a standout, nonetheless.
