Poggiotondo Chianti is a true expression of organic wine making from the heart of Tuscany. As any great Chianti should be, this Italian masterpiece is well-balanced and smooth as silk with a long, soft palate. The Sangiovese grapes that make up this delicious red wine are grown on the original Cerro del Masso estate of Alberto Antonini. They’re picked at the perfect flavour ripeness and then added to French oak barriques, aging for around eight months and developing a delicious blend of dark fruit flavours that makes each glass all too drinkable. Pair with a rich ragú like Bolognese, or enjoy a glass by itself to savour this Tuscan treasure.
