A note from the growers at Organic Blooms about this month’s March plant pack:
"Larkspur and Corncockle are 2 of our favourite hardy annuals and can be planted now for early flowers. They can grow up to 90cm so need supporting. Keep cutting the flowers to extend the season, and if you want plants next year, either let them self-seed or collect seed when it has ripened after flowering. A word of caution though – both larkspur and corncockle are poisonous if ingested."
This March pack contains:
- 5 x well rooted, garden ready hardy annual plants in biodegradable pots. 3 x Larkspur and 2 x Corncockle
- 3 x well rooted, certified organic Larkspur plant (Delphinium consolida, mixed colours), 2 x well rooted, certified organic Corncockle plant (mixed colours) all potted into a 10.5cm biodegradable pot using peat free compost suitable for organic growing systems.
Unpack plants as soon as you receive them, water them and place in a light position to recover from being transported.
These hardy annuals are garden ready and can be planted in a border or patio tub. Larkspur and corncockle can be grown together and they both need supporting - grown though a plant support hoop or netting. Cutting the flowers regularly will extend their flowering period. These plants will flower this year and produce seed that can be saved for new plants next year. Keep cool and dry.
Both Larskspur and Corncockle are poisonous if ingested.
Each month you will recieve different content. Sometimes you will receive a pack of seeds or bulbs and sometimes it will be a selection of more mature plants. This subscription is ideal for creating beautiful, seasonal displays with ease throughout the spring and summer months.
