Use one litre of water for every 100 gram of the pasta you're going to cook 3. Use 10g of coarse - grained salt for every litre of water When the water starts to boil add the salt and pasta. Stir the pasta, increase the heat and cover the pot with a top to reintroduce the process of boiling. Stir the pasta now and then and cook it according to the cooking time indicated on the packaging (6/7 minutes). The cooking time begins when the water with the pasta in the pot starts boiling. Taste the pasta now and if you consider it to be ready add a glass of cold water into the pot which will stop the cooking process while sieving. Add a sauce of your choice!
