Thanks to a fantastic 2019 vintage and thoughtful winemaking by the Oxney Estate, this 100% Pinot Noir rosé is deliciously crisp, fleshy and bursting with summer fruits all at once. Despite being relatively new on the English winemaking scene, Oxney have wasted no time since their inception in 2012. They are now the largest organic estate in England (position near Rye in Sussex), boasting 21 hectares of vines. Most importantly, all of their wines come from their own vines, which is not as common as you’d think in England. Notes of wild jam on the nose lead purposefully to a casing of bright acidity and a wave of inherent freshness whilst retaining the vibrant jab of ripe summer fruit trees to finish. Absolutely not to be missed for rosé or indeed any wine lover keen to drink more English wine.
