Their beef comes from grass-fed cows, reared slowly and naturally with a focus on high welfare living. This high-quality meat is seasoned with natural plant-based flavourings, then smoked gently over beech and applewood for a juicy, artisan sausage. Rare & Pasture may take their time getting these delicious flavours just right, but you can cook their sausages in a flash. This is still fast food but natural, delicious and honest all the same.

Storage & prep

Store in the fridge below 8°. Once opened consume within 3 days. Suitable for freezing. Once defrosted use immediately.

Put about half a centimetre of water and a knob of butter into a frying pan and place on medium heat. Add the frankfurter to the pan and cook for about six minutes until heated through, turning occasionally. Don’t let the water dry out. Alternatively, cover your frankfurter with a paper towel and heat on medium in a microwave, allowing 40 to 50 seconds for each sausage. Or prick the packet, place it in microwave and heat for 3 minutes to 3.5 minutes. Ensure the sausages are piping hot before serving.
