What makes me special?
- A unique Christmas roast for around 6 people
- Geese have a natural layer of fat which melts into the meat in the oven, for a roast that’s moist, succulent and full of flavour
- Fat from the roasting tin can be used to make crispy, fluffy, decadent roast potatoes.
- Summerhill geese thrive on clover-rich organic pastures with plenty of access to water
- No stressful transport for live birds. Each one is bred, hatched, reared in small flocks and butchered on the farm
- From the UK’s only organic goose farmer, based in Devon

Ben & Alice Moseley moved to Summerhill Farm, owned by the Soil Association Land Trust in October 2007. It is a small mixed farm in mid Devon, on the Two Moors Way which links Dartmoor and Exmoor. Among other things they have laying hens, a herd of red ruby cattle and these wonderful organic geese. They like to support their local community by offering school visits as well as volunteer days to help with the environmental management of the farm.
