A slightly off-dry wine, this Riesling has a bright and vibrant character, thanks to the dried fruit flavours and the refreshing aromas of ripe lemon, peach and apple. As it ages, the hazelnut, honey and dried fruit flavours will develop of time, becoming more prominent in an already lively wine. Partners brilliantly with light Asian dishes, but just as well with pork belly, where the acidity will cut through the fattiness of the pork. Best enjoyed over the next three years.

Producer

Weingut Theodorus is a progressive, forward-thinking estate, with a history dating back to 1778. Today it is Thomas Lergenmüller who is in charge, and who converted the estate to organic. He seeks purity and authenticity in the wines, saying ‘the gentle handling of nature is the basic requirement for achieving highest qualities in wine.’
