Daylesford have built and operate their own organic abattoir, so that they can be involved in the entire process from field to packaging. Ensuring that all the animals get the highest quality of care is of the utmost importance to them, and running their own abattoir is the only and best way for this to happen. All their animals, including their pork, go through their organic abattoir.

Storage & prep

Keep refrigerated <5°C. Consume within 1 day of opening.

Our Head Chef recommends to Oven cook - From Chilled. Remove all packaging. Place the slices into a roasting tin, rub the skin with a small handful of salt or brush with oil. Place in a pre-heated oven gas mark 4/180°C for 35 minutes. Ensure the the juices run clear.

Suitable for freezing. Freeze on day of delivery. Defrost thoroughly and use within 24 hours, do not refreeze once thawed.
