Favoured by the Irish, dulse is a craicing, vibrant seaweed that is famously fried as a vegan bacon alternative. If that’s not high praise, we’re not sure what is. Because it’s dried, it’s lovely to snack on raw, and can be added to curries and salads to bring a taste of the sea to your cooking. As with all seaweed, dulce is rich in fibre as well as protein, calcium and zinc.

The Cornish Seaweed Company aim to provide sustainably harvested, local, edible seaweeds and introduce these as an alternative food source that is healthy, nutritional, tasty, and good for the environment. They do all of this wonderful stuff with a keen understanding of the importance of seaweed on marine life.
