Founded in 2005, Walnut Block is the vision of the Sowman brothers – Clyde and Nigel. They’ve created a boutique winery (and holiday cottages) in a prime part of Marlborough’s Wairau valley. The vineyard surrounds Marlborough’s oldest Walnut tree – hence the name.
