Treat the whole table with our Luxury Fish Pie from Lodge Farm Kitchen, served in a sturdy enamel dish. Fresh and smoked haddock and land-based, responsibly farmed salmon sit in a creamy parsley sauce under buttery mash and melted Cheddar.
What makes me special?
- Creamy and comforting. Tender flakes of fish are folded through a creamy parsley sauce with shallots, dill and a touch of Dijon mustard. It's rich and warming, and the fresh herbs keep it bright. - Three kinds of fish. Fresh haddock, smoked haddock and salmon each bring something different, from delicate and sweet to gently smoky. It makes every forkful a little more interesting. - A savoury twist. Capers and anchovies add little bursts of briny, savoury flavour. They melt into the sauce, adding depth and a gentle tang. - Golden, cheesy top. Buttery mashed potato is finished with Cheddar that bubbles and browns in the oven. Look for golden edges and sauce bubbling up the sides to know it's ready. - Responsibly sourced fish. The salmon in this pie is land-based and responsibly farmed, and the haddock is responsibly sourced. - Oven to table. It cooks and serves in its enamel dish, so it goes straight from the oven to the middle of the table. Give it an hour in a hot oven, then let it stand for a couple of minutes. - Easy to plan ahead. Cook it straight from the fridge, or freeze it on the day it arrives and keep it for up to a month. If you're cooking from frozen, defrost it in the fridge first. - Lovely with greens. Serve it with buttered peas or steamed green beans and a wedge of lemon. A crisp green salad works well too if you'd like something lighter alongside.

Producer
At Lodge Farm Kitchen they understand that not even the greatest domestic gods/goddesses among us have the time to rustle up every meal from scratch, so to help, they've created a range of tasty pies that are both convenient and made from fresh ingredients sourced locally whenever they can – all hand prepared with pride, passion & integrity. They do their bit for the planet too, with massive compost bins and a wormery at their farm for all green and brown waste, all tins, card, glass and plastic recycled, and their own packaging is reused as much as possible (and that which isn't can be composted, with the last little bit recycled). Brilliant all round.
