chicken (95%), spice rub: (olive oil, sea salt flakes, lemon peel (8.4%), fennel seeds (5.2%), garlic, oregano, smoked paprika, sugar. Made in a factory that handles gluten, egg, fish, soya, milk, celery, mustard, sesame & sulphites.

Storage & prep

Store between 0c & 4c. Suitable for home freezing. Freeze on day of delivery. Fully defrost in a refrigerated environment over 24 hours. Once fully defrosted, use within 24 hours. Do not re-freeze.

To cook
1. Remove chicken from packaging and bring to room temperature.
2. Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C fan/gas mark 7.
3. Place the chicken skin side up into a large, heavy-based roasting tray, and roast in the centre of the oven for approximately 45 minutes, reaching a core temperature of 65°C before resting.
4. Remove from the oven, transfer to a tray and cover with foil. Rest for a minimum of 20 minutes before carving.

Serve with home-made coleslaw and jacket potatoes.
