- The upright, sturdy plants cope well with frosts and cold, making them an excellent variety to plant alongside more delicate greens like Rainbow Chard
- Sow these seeds into pots in April, then transplant after 4-5 weeks. Make sure to plant right up to the first true leaves and ‘firm-in’ in well when planting – they don’t like loose soil
- These seeds are open-pollinated. Meaning you can harvest your own seeds from them at the end of the season to use the following year
