They’re swirled together a with blend of tahini, garlic and tantalising hint of sharp lemon. It’s a picnic-perfect dip that’s great paired with all kinds of crudités and chunks of crusty bread.

The tremendously lovely Mark and Ayleen are at the helm of Natural Vitality. They’re passionate folks, shown by the four gold medals they won in Taste of the West for their dips. They also are working on a zero waste policy, donating any spare food to charities and any spare whey to happy pigs. Fun fact: Monks and scholars were banned from eating chickpeas in the Middle Ages because they were thought to be a powerful aphrodisiac. And our houmous has one of the highest percentages of chickpeas. You’ve been warned.

Storage & prep

Ready to eat. Keep chilled in the fridge. The oil often separates out, so please give it a good stir before eating. Check the expiry date and use by that date. We guarantee that your houmous will have 3 days, including the day of delivery before it expires.

Suitable for home freezing. Freeze as soon as possible after purchase. Once defrosted, consume within 2 days.
