Jean Boudegeur farms "Agricola La Capilla" situated at the base of the Andes mountains in Chile. Supplied by water from the Aconcagua river which is fed by the mountain water flowing down from the Aconcagua mountain, the highest peak in the Americas. Jean started his farm in 2003 and has only ever produced his grapes organically. The farm benefits from a southerly wind which brings dry air with little humidity, and almost no rain from October to May which reduces the risk of fungal problems within the crop. After 23 years of maintaining and caring for the soil, Jean believes he has the best conditions for growing organic grapes in the whole of Chile. Jean is the only organic grape grower in Chile certified to the organic standards required for exporting to the UK.
Abel & Cole handles celery, celeriac, peanuts and nuts on site. Due to our packing process and re-use of boxes there is a risk of cross-contamination from these, and all other allergens.
