Producer
Billy started Billy’s Woodland Eggs in 2008 with just 90 chickens. Now he and his team have around 8000 hens roaming freely through fields and woodlands. Situated in Stow-on-the-Wold, in the heart of the Cotswolds, they’ve found enrichment is key for happy, healthy birds. They give their hens footballs, lucern bales, pecking blocks and discs to keep them busy when they’re roosting for the night. Sustainability is a real focus for them too, with a new tree planting program in place for their latest farm.
