Who’d have thought a peanut allergy could launch a nut butter business? Mike Duckworth that’s who. Mike created Nutcessity after he had his first taste of tree nut butter while studying abroad in Australia. He discovered he could sidestep peanuts altogether with tree nuts and introduce a whole new variety of tastes and textures too. Going beyond the peanut meant going back to basics, focusing on palm oil-free nuts from trusted, organic farmers. Nothing weird and wonderful added to the mix, just natural goodness in plastic-free jars. Mike’s spreads have since won Great Taste awards in 2019 and 2020, wowing tasters with their fudgy, creamy textures and standout flavours.
