What makes me special?

- Our Brussels sprouts are packed with nutty, mustardy flavour.
- They’re easy to cook. Just score a cross on the bottom and peel off the outer leaves. Then steam or roast until tender and juicy. Serve with your favourite trimmings. We like maple syrup and butter. Or a scattering of bacon lardons
- 100% organic
- Grown without artificial pesticides

Ingredients & allergens

Abel & Cole handles celery, celeriac, peanuts and nuts on site. Due to our packing process and re-use of boxes there is a risk of cross-contamination from these, and all other allergens.

While we do everything we can to ensure the information on this page is correct, ingredients, nutritional and dietary information are subject to change. So along with the information on our website, we always recommend that you read each label carefully before enjoying your items

Storage & prep

Firstly peel away any damaged outer leaves; these are left on for delivery to protect the inner brussel. You may like to cut a cross along the bottom of the vegetable, but this could be a waste of time as they cook perfectly well without and this may even lead to loss of flavour or shape. Place them in a tightly covered pan with 2-3 centimetres (1in) of boiling, salted water. They should be ready after 8-10 minutes unless they are huge! Then drain and finish in the various ways described in the recipes. You should keep your Brussels sprouts wrapped, to keep them crisp, crunchy and fresh. Store in your fridge and eat as soon as possible. Suitable for home freezing.
Don't forget to wash your fruit and veg before use.

Organic tastes better
We reckon slow grown food that’s allowed to go at its own pace tastes the best. Don’t just take our word for it.
"The vegetables are all really fresh, keep longer than supermarket and have so much more flavour."
