Bring a little North African spice to dinner with our Organic Beef Merguez Sausages from Peelham Farm. They're made with pasture-raised beef and warmed through with paprika, cumin, coriander, and a kick of cayenne.
What makes me special?
- Warm and spicy. Paprika, cumin, and cayenne give them a rich warmth and a gentle kick of heat. They're lively without being fiery.
- Fragrant and aromatic. Coriander, ginger, mint, and garlic add a fresh, fragrant lift. The mint is a lovely surprise that keeps the spice in balance.
- Ruby red. Paprika gives them their signature ruby-orange colour. They look brilliant on the plate, especially with a scattering of fresh herbs.
- Great with couscous. Serve them with couscous, flatbreads, and a spoonful of yoghurt, or slice them into a tomato stew. They're lovely on the barbecue too.
- Gluten free. There's no gluten in the recipe, so they're a great pick if you're avoiding it. They come in a natural lamb casing.
- Fry or oven-bake. Cook them in a pan or in the oven until they're cooked through. Turn them now and then so they colour evenly.
- Pasture-raised beef. They're made with beef from pasture-raised cattle, reared by the team at Peelham Farm. The farm turns its own beef into these sausages.
