A note from the growers at Organic Blooms about this month’s May plant pack:
"Our gardening club subscribers are in for a treat this May, with plug plants of a specially developed baby salad leaf mix – featuring 4 varieties that if harvested regularly should keep you in salad leaves throughout the summer. If you don’t have a garden, these can be grown in tubs or troughs.
The four varieties provide a great range of leaf shape, colour and texture and are: Albabionda (curly green) Albaverde (green), Albarossa (red) and Baby Romaine (straight, crunchy)."
This May pack contains:
- 8 bare-rooted salad plug plants, with growing instructions.
- The box contains 8 x mixed baby leaf salad plugs which contain a mix of specially develped varieties that can be picked as baby leaf 'cut and come again' or allowed to grow on. The four varieties are: Albabionda, Albaverde, Albarossa and Baby Romaine. This gives a great range of leaf shape, colour and texture.
- Salad can be grown in a trough, tub, allottment or garden. Keep well watered in dry weather. Protect from slugs
Care instructions:
