Storage & prep
Store between 0°c & 4°c. Suitable for home freezing - Freeze on day of delivery. Fully defrost in a refrigerated environment over 24 hours. Once fully defrosted, use within 24hours. Do not re-freeze.
Cooking instructions:
Shallow fry 1. Remove the chicken out of the packaging. 2. Heat a layer of vegetable oil 3 to 4cm deep in a frying pan over a medium-high heat. 3. Fry for 8 to 10 minutes, adding a large knob of butter as they cook, turning a couple of times until golden- you may need to do this in batches until the chicken is cooked through and piping hot. 4. Remove from the pan, pat away excess oil with kitchen roll, season with a little sea salt and serve straight away.
Deep fry 1. Remove the chicken out of the packaging. 2. Preheat the fryer to 160°C. 3. Fry the Kiev's for 6 to 8 mins until golden and crispy - you may need to do this in batches, ensure the chicken is cooked through and piping hot. 4. Remove from the fryer, pat away excess oil with kitchen roll, season with sea salt and serve straight away.
Air fry 1. Remove the chicken out of the packaging, place in the air fryer and spray with oil. 2. Air fry 200°C for approximately 18 mins until the chicken is cooked through and piping hot. 3. Remove from the air fryer, season with sea salt and serve straight away.
Oven bake 1. Remove the chicken from the packaging 2. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan (gas mark 6) 3. Place Kyiv on a baking tray in middle of oven and cook for 30 mins until the chicken is cooked through & piping hot 4. Remove from the oven, season with sea salt & serve straight away.
Serving suggestions: serve with rich garlic mayo, wedges of lemon and french fries.
