This red is a 70/30 blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, and with vines that are over 40 years in age, the grapes have a wonderful character and depth. There's a real ripeness to the black fruits in the flavour and there's a hint of mint running through it as well. It's a wine that goes great with roasts, and is best enjoyed while it's still young.
