- 500g carrots
- 1kg new potatoes
- 300g shallots
- 1 green cabbage
Stir-fried green cabbage makes a crisp accompaniment to roast pork. Shred and stir-fry for 5-6 mins with a splash of oil, chopped garlic, a pinch of chilli flakes, grated ginger and a splash of rice or red wine vinegar.
Peel and roast shallots for 30 mins at 180C/FGan 160C/Gas 4 for a sweet, soft oniony side dish.
