Choc-o-Beet Treat

It wouldn’t be Easter without chocolate, so we’ve whipped up this smoothie take on red velvet cake, made with sweet beetroot and a scoop of deep, dark cocoa. There’s a hint of jamminess from strawberries and a creamy splash of oat milk to swirl the whole thing together.

Ingredients you'll need
- 100g beetroot
- 2 bananas
- 250g strawberries
- 10g cocoa powder
- 330ml oat drink
From your kitchen
- A few ice cubes
Step by step this way

Trim and peel the beetroot. Roughly chop the beetroot and add to a blender. Peel and break the bananas into the blender. Hull the strawberries, roughly chop them and add them to the blender with the cocoa powder.

Add a few ice cubes and pour in 330ml oat drink. Blitz till smooth, then pour into two glasses and serve straight away.
