Walnut Brownie Swirl

How about brownies for breakfast? This rich, chocolaty and nutty smoothie blitzes fudgy Medjool dates and sweet bananas with a scoop of cocoa powder and a handful of walnuts to make a fruity, oven-free take on our favourite bake.

Ingredients you'll need
- 2 bananas
- 2 Medjool dates
- 35g walnut halves
- 10g cocoa powder
- 250ml coconut water
From your kitchen
- Sea salt
- A few ice cubes
Step by step this way

Peel the bananas and break them into the blender. Pop the stones out the dates and add the dates to the blender. Tip in the walnuts. Add a small pinch of salt.

Add the cocoa powder and pour in the coconut water. Add a few ice cubes and blitz for a few mins till the smoothie is combined. Pour into two glasses and serve.
