Strawberry Shake It Up

Shake yourself awake with this creamy blend of sweet strawberries, velvety banana and juicy kiwi fruit, blitzed with tangy kefir to get you revved up and ready to take on the day. What’s red and green and goes 100 miles an hour? This strawberry and kiwi fruit smoothie.

Ingredients you'll need
  • 250g strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 2 kiwi fruit
  • 247ml kefir
From your kitchen
  • A few ice cubes
Step by step this way

    Pull the leaves and stems from the strawberries. Peel and roughly chop the banana (see our tip for freezing both before making your smoothie). Add them both to your blender.

    Halve the kiwi fruit and scoop out the green flesh, adding it to the blender. Pour in the kefir and add a few ice cubes. Blitz till smooth, then pour into glasses and serve.

    Freeze me
    Prepare your strawberries and bananas as described above. Pop them into a freezerproof container and freeze for at least 6 hours. Add to the blender with the rest of the ingredients (minus the ice) for an cooler, creamier, thicker smoothie.
