Shake Your Kale Feather

A gorgeously green thick shake made with juicy pears, sweet bananas and nutrient-rich kale, whizzed with tender flaked almonds and dollops of Greek style yogurt to make a creamy treat so delicious you might just have to do a little dance about it.

Ingredients you'll need
  • 100g kale
  • 2 pears
  • 35g flaked almonds
  • 1 banana
  • 150g Greek style yogurt
From your kitchen
  • A few ice cubes
  • 250ml cold water
Step by step this way

    Pull the soft kale leaves off their woody cores and roughly chop the leaves. Tuck into your blender. Quarter the pears, slice out the cores and roughly chop the pears. Add to the kale. Peel the banana and break it into the blender.

    Tip in the flaked almonds and spoon in the yogurt. Add a few ice cubes and 250ml cold water. Whizz till smooth and combined.
