Pear, Banana & Cinnamon Shake

A perfect pair of pears, a couple of creamy bananas and a delightful duo of fudgy Medjool dates shake it up with a dash sesame seeds and pinch cinnamon to make a fruity sweetheart of a smoothie.

Ingredients you'll need
  • 2 pears
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 medjool dates
  • 25g sesame seeds
  • A pinch or two of cinnamon
  • 330ml brown rice drink

  • A few ice cubes

Step by step this way
  • 1.

    Quarter the pears and slice out their cores. Roughly chop them and add to your blender. Peel the bananas and break them in.

    Halve the Medjool dates, remove the stones and add the dates to the blender. Tip in the sesame seeds along with a good pinch of cinnamon.

    Pour 330ml brown rice drink into the blender (save the rest for this week’s other smoothies) and top up with a few ice cubes . Whizz smooth, pour into a couple of glasses and top with an extra pinch of cinnamon to serve.
