Tender leaves meet juicy fruits in this gorgeous green smoothie. It’s made with sweet pears and kiwi fruit blended with succulent baby spinach leaves, creamy cashews and cool hazelnut drink to get your day off to a nutty, nutritious start.

Ingredients you'll need
- 4 kiwi fruit
- 2 pears
- 50g baby leaf spinach
- 35g cashews
- 250ml hazelnut drink

- A few ice cubes

Step by step this way

Halve the kiwi fruit and scoop out the flesh with a teaspoon. Quarter the pears and slice out the cores. Chop the pears and add them, along with the kiwi fruit, to your blender.

Add the baby leaf spinach and the cashews. Pour in the hazelnut drink and drop in a few ice cubes. Blitz till smooth, pour into 2 glasses and serve.
- Tip
A nice long soak
If you have time, soak the cashews in water overnight. Drain, rinse and add to the blender with the rest of the ingredients. Soaking makes them easier to blend and may make them easier to digest.
