Carrapple Shake

A refreshing shake full of the straight-from-the-farm flavours of crisp apple, sweet carrot, cool mini cuke and a lively thwack of fresh ginger, whizzed with a splash of almond milk for creaminess.

Ingredients you'll need
- 2 apples
- 2 carrots
- 2 mini cucumbers
- 1cm slice of ginger
- 250ml almond milk

Step by step this way

Quarter the apples and slice out the cores and pips. Roughly chop the apples and scoop them into your blender. Scrub, trim and roughly chop the carrots. Add them to the apples. Roughly chop the mini cucumbers and add them to the blender too.

Slice a 1cm-thick piece off the ginger, peel it and finely chop it. Add it to the blender. Add a few ice cubes and pour in the almond milk.

Blend for 1-2 mins till smooth and combined, then taste and grate in a little more ginger if you think it needs it. Blitz again if need be, then pour into glasses and serve.
