Lemon, Ginger & Maple Zinger

This smoothie is a fiery pick-me-up of a smoothie packing plenty of warming ginger heat, peppery watercress and lemon zing into one delicious drink.

Ingredients you'll need
- 1 lemon
- 3 pears
- A thumb of ginger
- 100g watercress
- 300ml maple water
From your kitchen
- A cupful of ice
Step by step this way

Slice the skin and white pith from the lemon and discard it. Roughly chop the lemon flesh and flick out any pips.
- 2.
Quarter the pears and slice out the cores. Roughly chop the pears and ginger. Place everything in the blender with the watercress. Pour in the maple water and add a cupful of ice. Blend till smooth.
