The Gimenez brothers, Jose and Miguel, grow our watermelons in the Almeria region of southern Spain. The warm sunny climate, good soil and lack of frost provide the perfect conditions for melons, peppers, tomatoes, aubergines and courgettes.
Abel & Cole handles celery, celeriac and nuts on site. Due to our packing process and re-use of boxes there is a risk of cross-contamination from these, and all other allergens.
While we do everything we can to ensure the information on this page is correct, ingredients, nutritional and dietary information are subject to change. So along with the information on our website, we always recommend that you read each label carefully before enjoying your items
Using a large knife (and keeping little hands out of the way!) slice the melon in half, lengthways. Then cut into wedges and enjoy the melon straight from the skin, or cut into chunks and add to salads. Melon should be kept in a cool, dry place. Once you've cut it open, cover it over and keep in the fridge. If you're looking for something a bit different, try popping it on the griddle to sear then serve sprinkled with salt. Don’t forget to wash your fruit and veg before use.
