Bodega Delgado is an organic winery and vineyard founded by the Delgado brothers more than a decade ago in La Mancha, Spain. Heat is the enemy in this hot Spanish patch, so getting the grapes into the cool of the winery quickly is imperative; doing so helps keep the original fruitiness of the grapes. To make this happen, the brothers cleverly built their winery smack dab in the middle of their 200 hectare vineyard. The winery’s location also saves them value time between picking and pressing and this reduces their reliance on sulphur, which some aren't so keen to see in wine. The Delgado wines are fresh, deeply fruit, simple, and very pure. They are a joy to drink and amazingly, given the heat, they're not too alcoholic!
