- White chocolate
- Milk or dark chocolate
- Houmous or other dip
- Seeds, pumpkin and sunflower work well
- Peanut butter
Peel and halve a banana. Stick a wooden skewer in each half. Freeze for 2 hrs. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper. Dip the frozen banana in melted white chocolate then lay them on the greaseproof paper. Pop in the fridge to set. Melt milk or dark chocolate and dot on for eyes and mouth. Boo!
2. Witches Fingers
Peel and slice a carrot into a finger shape. Cut a flat notch at the tip. Make a fingernail: use a dip, like houmous, to glue an almond in the notch. Cut small slices into the carrot for knuckles. Repeat to make as many witches fingers as you wnat, then stick the fingers in a bowl of houmous to serve.
3. Monster Mouths
Quarter an apple and slice out the cores. Cut a wedge out of the skin side. Press seeds (pumpkin seeds work a treat) around the inside for the teeth.
4. Shrunken Pumpkins
Peel a clementine. Push a small slice of celery/cucumber into the top. Hey presto: a mini mini pumpkin.
