Barbecwaffee Sauce

A zingy bbq sauce with a coffee kick. Sounds weird, tastes brilliant. Makes enough to fill 3 jam jars.

  • 1 mug of good quality ketchup (ours works a treat)
  • 1/2 mug of strong coffee
  • 1/2 mug of honey or black treacle
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp Dijon or wholegrain mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp finely chopped rosemary leaves
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Sea salt and freshly ground pepper

Freezes well, refrigerate for up to a week.
