This flour is made by Matt Bowman at Little Duxmore Farm. Little Duxmore Farm sits on the downs above Havenstreet on the Isle of Wight. Matt's family have been milling flour for 200 years and Matt continues to this day, utilising the best of age-old traditional methods along with innovative contemporary milling methods, the flour is ground in traditional granite millstones which are housed in a modern mill. Matt grows all of this Soil Association certified cereal crops on his farm and he provides the bakers of the Isle of Wight with his fine flour, but he always sets some aside for us. If you’re ever visiting the Isle of Wight, you can meet Matt at the Farmer’s Market in St Thomas Square in Newport on Friday mornings!
