Banana Chocolate Cake Shake

Wakey wakey, time for cake-y (in the form of a chocolatey shake-y) – yep, this smoothie blends bananas and carrots with a big pinch of cinnamon, cocoa powder and a splash of oat drink to make a creamy cake-inspired concoction.


  • 2 bananas
  • 2 carrots
  • 25g raisins
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • A pinch or 2 of cinnamon
  • 330ml oat drink

1. Peel and break the bananas into your blender. Trim, peel, then roughly chop the carrots. Add them to the blender. Tip in the raisins.
2. Add the cocoa powder and a pinch of cinnamon to the blender. Pour in 330ml of the oat drink. Add a few ice cubes. Blitz till smooth then pour into two glasses and dust a little cocoa powder and cinnamon over the top to serve.
