Azienda Agricola L’Olivella was founded in 1986 by Umberto Notamicola, a winegrower from Apulia and Bruno Violo, an oenologist from Piedmont. Since 2003 they have farmed organically on their 12 hectare vineyard in the Lazio region; considered the home Frascati.
