Founded by Klaus Gaiser, who spent many years studying food production in Japan, China and Indonesia, Wheaty showcases his interest in developing new, seitan based meat-replacements for the whole family. Based in Germany, they operate out of a former meat packing plant, now completely converted to a vegan factory. All energy used in production comes from 100% renewable sources and Wheaty regularly donates to environmental charities and campaigns including Borneo Orangutan Survival and Animals’ Angels Germany.
