Sweet Potato Mash

Do the sweet potato mash. It's a great twist on a simple favourite, that will accompany many a main dish.


  • 2 or 3 sweet potatoes
  • Sea salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter

1. Peel and roughly chop your sweet potatoes (about 2-3 largish ones should do).
2. Simmer the sweet potatoes in a pan of salted boiling water for 15-20 mins till the potatoes are tender.
3. Drain the potatoes. Tip them back into the pan.
4. Dollop in a little butter. Season and mash.
