- 2 tsp Ethiopian Mitmita Spice Mix
- 2 organic rib eye steaks
- Sea salt
- Freshly ground pepper
- Green salad, to serve
Prep: 20 mins + marinating | Cook: 15-20 mins
1. Add 2 tsp of the Ethiopian Mitmita Spice Mix in a dish. Add the steaks and turn to coat in the spice mix. Cover and marinate in the fridge for 1 hr or for up to 24 hrs.
2. Light your barbecue. It will take around 45 mins to get hot enough to cook on. When the coals are glowing white, it’s ready. Brush the steaks with ½ tbsp oil each. Lay them on the barbecue and grill for 3-6 mins on each side, depending on how well done you like your steaks.
3. If you’re cooking inside, heat a griddle pan till it’s smoking hot. Add the steaks and griddle for 3-6 mins on each side. Serve the steaks with the broad bean salad.
